Wat Phra Kaew

Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) in the grounds of the Grand Palace, Bangkok. The temple buildings are extremely colourful, being comprised of gleaming, gilded chedis, polished orange and green roof tiles, mosaic-encrusted pillars and rich marble pediments.

Thai Temple

Marble Temple (Wat Benchamabophit), Bangkok. The temple is made of white Carrara marble and was built about 100 years ago by King Rama V. His ashes are kept under the main Buddha image.

Wat Phra That Hariphuchai, Lamphun, northern Thailand. The temple buildings date back to 1157.
