The Figment Film production will be released by Twentieth Century Fox. The release date for the US and UK is 11th February 2000.

Principal Photography took place in four main locations in Thailand between January 15th and April 24th 1999. Post -production took place in London. The first trailer was released during May 1999 and the second in October. Both are available on the internet. Test screenings in August were believed not to be so successful and re-shoots were carried out during August 1999. News in November reported that Fox were trying to decide between two different endings. The movie is Rated R in the US and 15 in the UK. The running time at present is 110 minutes.
