Instructions

TIP 1: For PC users, click on the thumbnail which is the right size for your monitor. After the picture has finished loading, right-click on the image and choose "Set as Wallpaper" (see picture above).

TIP 2: If you don't know your screen size, right mouse click on the desktop and choose "Properties". You will get a window similiar to the one above. Now, choose the tab for "Settings" in the top right hand corner. Towards the bottom right you should see the size of your screen area in pixels. The picture to the left shows our monitor is large and so we should pick the picture which is 1024x768. Now, click on the tab in the top left hand corner called "Background" (see picture above). This is where you would normally go to choose a picture from your hard disk to use as wallpaper. If you click on "Browse" you can choose any picture on your hard disk for the wallpaper. You then have the choice to display it as "Center", "Tile" or "Stretch". The Beach wallpaper has been designed to fit your screen exactly. If you choose a picture that is too small and then "stretch" it, then the quality won't be so good. Make sure you choose "Center" and then click on "Apply" in the bottom right hand corner.

TIP 3: Are the icons covering parts of the picture that you want to see? Most people have the icons in a straight line on the left hand side of the screen. But it is possible to arrange them where you like. On the desktop, right click the mouse and choose "Arrange Icons". In the picture above there is a tick to the left of "Auto Arrange". This means that the icons will automatically line up in a straight line on the left. If you want to be able to re-arrange the icons to where you like, then select "Auto Arrange". This will then remove the tick mark.

TIP 4: If you don't use some of the icons on your desktop then just delete them! One way to do this is to right mouse click on the un-wanted icon and then choose "Delete" (see picture above).
