These are the archives for all of the "Leonardo on the Beach" photographs we have collected from various sources. Webmasters are welcome to use these pictures on their web sites, but please do us a favour by giving us an acknowledgment and a link. Official and Posed Pictures of Leonardo - These are all the photographs we have seen published of Leonardo in Thailand. They include official photographs and shots with tourists. We have included a few long lens shots of him in a boat.
Television Photographs - These are photographs from the television. They were photographed by Patoise with her digital camera and sent to us by Sharron. Please note that although this footage appeared on American t.v. shows such as Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight they did not actually visit the location themselves. It was a closed set so the film was shot by a 20th Century Fox camera crew. These shots are copyright 20th Century Fox.
Papparazzi Pictures of Leonardo and Cast - These are pictures of Leonardo and cast taken by the papparazzi and published in the world press.
Maya Beach, Phi Phi Le island - The main location for The Beach movie was Maya Bay on Phi Phi Le Island. These are pictures of the beach before and after the film-makers arrived. They include shots of the imported palm trees, the boats and the bay, and the cast arriving/leaving. Other pictures taken at Maya Beach can be seen on the "Television" and "Papparazzi" pages. Haeo Suwat Waterfall in Khao Yai National Park - This is the location for the waterfall scene when Richard, Francoise and Etienne first arrive at the beach. Phuket City and Province - This is the location for Koh Pha Nga and Khao San Road (Bangkok). The interior scenes were also shot in the studio on this island. Scenes from the movie - We have started to collect pictures which show actual scenes from the movie.
