The picture to the left is an archive shot from the web cam in Class 6/1. In this picture, the students are eating lunch. They usually sit in groups, sharing the food between them. Unlike in Europe or America, Thai people share a common bowl. they also don't put all the food at once onto their plate. Instead, they take only a spoonful or two at a time from the serving bowls and put it on their plate. In Thai restaurants, it is not uncommon to have 5 or 6 different dishes containing a variety of different meat and fish for people to choose from. |
